MGS Tremors Fall Ball

MGS Tremors Fall Ball Program

The Fall Ball season runs through September and October.

While Fall Ball is still a competitive travel softball program, at MGS Tremors we like to see players participate in other sports during the Fall.   Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, Basketball, etc, as these sports keep our players fresh, while engaging and developing abilities that help with softball too.

So, for players that really love their softball, and want to continue to develop their skills in the Fall, we offer a flexible program designed for softball along with other sports.

Teams will offer two to three practices a week, and the expectation is that a player joining a team will attend at least once per week (if they are practicing other sports), and the tournaments.

Each team will participate in 3+ tournaments during the season, along with some friendly games against local teams.

Approximately 13 players (& practice players) will be selected for each team.

Typically we look for a maximum of three pitchers and three catchers per team.  This ensures those players will get plenty of pitching and catching time to help them develop.

Coaches will be selecting players for their teams at a formal tryout.

Player Notification

All players that have been selected for the Fall Ball Tremors teams will be notified within 48hrs of the tryouts.

Coaches

MGS Tremors coaches include experienced travel ball coaches and past players.  Our priority goes to experienced players from high school and travel ball and will consider parents based on experience.

Parents are welcome to volunteer for important supporting roles including team managers, equipment, registrations, tryouts, communications, volunteer coordination, and assistant coaches.
