2018 Season

Marin Tremors 2018 Summer and Fall Ball Schedule

We haven’t even started the Rec League Softball season yet, so why are we talking about Summer and Fall Travel Ball???

Well, like you, many of us are currently planning our summer vacations, so we felt it might be good timing to let you know when the Tremors Summer Ball and Fall Ball programs will be running.  We’ve been contacted by numerous parents, who would love to know, so they can schedule vacations that don’t conflict with the season.

In 2018, we will be fielding at least one travel ball team for 8U, 10U, and 12U.   We will be fielding Club Ball teams for 8U and 10U.

In addition, there are some other important dates to start planning around in 2018.

Pre-Travel Ball Season Clinics

Marin Tremors Coaches, freshly back from USA Softball Training Camp, will be conducting a series of 2 hour clinics during the March and April.  These clinics will give all players chance to develop the Travel Ball softball skills in preparation for the Travel Ball Season.  It’s also a great opportunity to reconnect with you team mates and Travel Ball coaches.

Clinic Dates: March 18, March 25, April 15 & April 22.

Travel Ball Tryouts and Assessment Day

Marin Tremors Tryouts and Assessment Day will be held on Sunday May 6th.   Teams will be announced within 48 hours.

Marin Tremors Travel Ball Season Dates

After your recreation season finishes, we have two Travel Ball Seasons, Summer and Fall. There may be some overlap with your recreation season, but we’ll make sure it doesn’t conflict with your rec team.

Our Summer Travel Ball and Club Ball season will run from tryouts and assessment day on Sunday May 6th through to Sunday July 15th, 2018.

For players planning to play during the Fall, our Fall Travel Ball season will run from Sunday, September 2nd to Sunday, October 28th, 2018.  There is no Club Ball fall season.

Travel Ball Tournament Schedule

The ASA tournament schedules typically come together by end of January 2018, so we’ll know exactly which tournaments the teams will be competing in shortly after that.

We hope that this helps with your vacation planning for 2018.   As always, please don’t hesitate to contact Murray Dunn ( if you have any questions.
